I’m playing a gig with my band ‘THE HAIRÈN’ at The Hope & Anchor in ISLINGTON. It’s a really great line-up with hotly tipped LYDIA MADDIX, FASHION BLIND and FEED THE WOLF all performing. If you are new to London and have never been to THE HOPE & ANCHOR, this will be a great event to come to – It’s going to be a great night of music at a Top Venue in the Heart of LONDON! Great place for a beer and they even have DJ’s till late! It’s Thursday let’s Party 🙂🍻

THE HAIRÈN – Like a Chest-burster exploding onto your lap, it looks up and says ‘Mummy!’ – The Hairén are a Grungey Rock / Punk-Funk / Blues-Core band playing around London. Sounding like an incestuous encounter between Luke and Lea they continue to gather audiences but no-one knows why? The Hairén – it’s a Chinese word meaning “to inflict suffering and victimise someone’ – Don’t worry, they’re not a Death Metal Band 🙂

LYDIA MADDIX – Lydia Maddix is a refreshing, comedy pop star on the rise; hailed as ‘hilarious and original’ by BBC Radio 1. The London/Bedfordshire based artist has already gained support from the likes of BBC Radio Manchester and ITV as well as comedian Sally Phillips and singer-songwriter KT Tunstall. Her first UK tour kicked off at O2 Academy Islington and concluded at Standon Calling Festival where she was hand-picked to represent the BBC Introducing stage, supporting the likes of Kate Nash, Mahalia, Lewis Capaldi, Rag’n’Bone Man and Wolf Alice. She also performed with KT Tunstall at British Summertime Festival for her comedy cooking project, ‘KT’s Kitchen’, creating its visuals too.
