London Prog Gigs are delighted to present an exciting double-header of modern prog-related bands at the famous Hope & Anchor in Islington.
TEIGER: With a sound meandering through quiet metal and bright acoustic rock, Teiger creates a rich and melancholic atmosphere that’s both fragile and occasionally furious.
“Whilst the music is played with the energy and intensity that you expect from a rock gig, the subtleties of their music and the way lead vocalist Talie Rose Eigeland wrings every note out of her guitar, conveying sounds that just shouldn’t be coming out of it, suggest that this is a band with an awful lot more to say.”
— My Global Mind
“Rather magical… A Tool-esque hypnotic, bizarre sound. Wonderfully effective.”
— MMH – The Home Of Rock Radio
“With the unique quality of Talie Rose Eigeland’s vocals, Grace Slick meets Jane Austen, bringing the lyrics to breathing, bleeding, life, this is a rare treat for anyone looking for something different in our cookie cutter musical world.”

CABIRIA: Formed in 2019, London-based instrumental trio Cabiria have consistently strived to make music that they would want to listen to. Featuring ultra-tight performances and inventive uses of effects, there’s a sense of honesty at its core which lends an emotional backdrop to all of their compositions. This is typified in the band’s debut album, Rust & Grey, released independently in 2021. A true statement of intent, this record shows Kye (drums), Stu (bass) and Rory (guitar) flexing their muscles with searing post metal grooves and shoegazing ambiences.
Key reference points for the band include Russian Circles, Toska, Incubus and The Police, as well as the thriving jazz and fusion scene in their local music venues across London, and n 2022 they made their debut appearance for London Prog Gigs at the Prog the Forest charity all-dayer.
“Young, energetic, and fabulously talented instrumental trio Cabiria provide instant contrast marrying
