Melbourne, Australia-based Adam Geoffrey Cole and his band TRAPPIST AFTERLAND make beautifully meditative deep acid folk/devotional music using voices, various acoustic stringed instruments, tabla, percussion, harmonium and Tanpura drones, and have been doing so since 2012, during the course of which they have released at least 25 albums as well as a live take on the soundtrack to Nic Roeg’s ‘Walkabout’ on labels such as SUGARBUSH, REVERB WORSHIP and many more. This show, the only London date on a tour of London and Europe, promises to be a fantastic and a rare opportunity to catch this mesmerising artist in concert.
HENRY PARKER’s contemporary take on folk, which he explores via thoughtful yet deeply accomplished guitar playing, unfurls and moves much like the landscape itself – mirroring the unpredictable, yet beautifully flowing, rolling hills and valleys of his hometown, the Aire Valley in West Yorkshire.

SHADOWS OF STEPHEN, “a London-based artist who plays acoustic guitar and sings in a deeply psychedelic vein. The music is rooted in British traditional material, but it is informed by both a gothic darkness recalling Paul Roland and the same wyrd-folk precursors that illuminate Current 93’s best work. A beautiful listen.”
