Wilf Raby, after years of postponement, cancellations and white lies, finally releases his debut album: ‘Hiding in Clouds’, packed with acoustic rock tracks reminiscent of (though by no means comparable to) Radiohead’s The Bends or Coldplay’s Parachutes.
Come to the Hope & Anchor (Islington) to celebrate its release with Wilf, he would really appreciate it. Wilf, accompanied by his former band Srinidhi, Thomas and Callum, will be playing all the album’s hits and a few of popular covers if everyone gets bored, because he is nothing if not generous to his audience.
Support Acts:
Adult Cat, seasoned musicians who really ought to headline the bill, blend the sounds of the Libertines, Blur and touch of Country music into irresistibly catchy tunes. Meanwhile, The Surely Knots, who are too good looking for their own good, draw from their inspiration the well of pacy 60s pop-psychadelica.
It looks set to be a wonderful evening!
