The Electric Rats play hi-voltage punk rock ‘n’ roll music from 1965-79. Around 10 million people in the UK were teenagers during these 15 years when punk music was evolving in garages until it blew up in the second half of the 70s. The Rats play music for those 10m. When US garage combos and girl groups influenced Iggy and the Dolls, before giving way to The Ramones, Sex Pistols and The Clash.
