Harsh Language is an upcoming three-piece from London, riffing on a life-long love of guitar music and incorporating samples and synths to create an emotive wall of melodic noise. Since forming in early 2022 HL have leant on their wide range of influences and combine the sound of alternative rock guitar-based bands like Smashing Pumpkins, Deftones and Placebo with the dark emotion and noise of acts such as Depeche Mode, Maybeshewill and 65daysofstatic – creating something that is familiar but, importantly, unique. Harsh Language pride themselves on subverting the idea of what a modern alternative hard rock band can be, using big riffs, emotive harmonies and hectic electronica to provide a live show that is both loud and impressive.
