K2 – Hard Rock Metal Band
K2 is a London-based originals Hard Rock/Metal band formed in late 2024, blending the raw power of AC/DC with the epic swagger of Led Zeppelin. Their music is loud, unapologetic, and designed to be felt in your chest—a sonic punch of nostalgia fused with fresh energy. After months of writing and rehearsing, K2 hit the stage in November 2025, ready to make serious noise and connect with audiences who live for real rock.
The Sound:Think driving riffs, thunderous drums, and soaring vocals. K2’s songs channel the spirit of classic rock while carving out a modern edge—anthemic hooks, gritty grooves, and lyrics that echo timeless themes of freedom, rebellion, and raw emotion.
The Band Members:
Peter S – Classically trained vocalist with many decades of studio experience in NY and London. Multi-instrumentalist (guitar, keys, sax) and a voice often compared to the greats.
Adam M – Guitar virtuoso with 15 years of mastery. A lifelong craftsman whose riffs define K2’s signature sound. By day a full time guitar teacher.
Simon M – Drums powerhouse with 36 years behind the kit, including playing at the 2012 London Olympics opening ceremony.
Joey S – Bass maestro with 10 years of playing experience and an infectious passion for music, classically training can play Jazz to Hard Rock/Metal.
John G – Manager and founder, a lifelong devotee of heavy music who brought K2 to life.(In loving memory of Jimmy M, a founding member whose spirit drives the band forward.)
Live Energy:K2 is a live band through and through—their music is meant to be screamed back by the crowd and blasted through amps. Upcoming gigs include Cartagena, Dublin, Glastonbury, and target on Wembley Stadium 2027, signaling their bold ambition to take this sound global.
Mission:To reignite the fire of classic hard rock and metal, to live on any classic hard rock playlist, for a new generation while honoring the legends who inspired them. K2 isn’t just playing songs—they’re creating moments that feel like the glory days of hard rock, reborn for today.
