IOTA – Summoning the nostalgic sounds of shoegaze and grunge, with echoes of early 2000s rock, IOTA lay it all bare through their raw, driving sound in Bristol’s DIY scene. 2024 has seen the band play headline shows in Bristol, as well as support Dream State on their Still Dreaming tour and Graphic Nature on their Who Are You When No One Is Watching? tour. Alongside these performances, IOTA released a run of singles—Medicine, Hollow, and Rose. In September, they embarked on a mini tour supporting VENUS GRRRLS and CHROMA to celebrate the release of Rose. IOTA will make you violently shake your head—while shedding a tear in the process.
Dream Delay – is the shared vision that SCR and Lonvy dedicated themselves to bringing to life after meeting in London post pandemic. They began shaping ideas they’d each been carrying for a long time, hence the delay. Lonvy told SCR early on she wasn’t necessarily looking to join a band long-term, probably not his ride-or-die singer, as she wanted to focus on a solo project. But it quickly became clear their collaboration was the direction she’d been searching for. With Juani on bass and Rubinho joining on drums, Dream Delay came to life – delayed, but right on time.
