Following their time touring arenas with Snow Patrol and winning Best Live Act at the NI Music Prize, Sister Ghost is bringing their signature spectral grunge-pop sound to the legendary Hope & Anchor basement. This tour features the first live performances of tracks from the new Oracle EP alongside favorites from the debut album Beyond The Water, both recorded in Los Angeles with legendary producer Brad Wood (Liz Phair, Veruca Salt, Smashing Pumpkins, Placebo).
The band and I are buzzing to be back in the city after a sick show last October at Dream Bags Jaguar Shoes. The energy that night was awesome, and we can’t wait to bring that same intensity to Islington. Sister Ghost’s band-leader Shannon has been a fixture in the DIY scene for over a decade, and this show continues that spirit—bringing a high-octane, femme/NB-led night of loud guitars to one of London’s most iconic punk venues. Come through for a night of DIY spirit and help us celebrate the release of Oracle.
