Smouldering Manhattan, are a post-punk and lo-fi rock group currently based in North London. Their influences range from Eno-esque ambient music to the rawness of garage rock, and to the hazy nature of cloud rap and shoegaze. They’ll be playing songs from their self-released album ‘he didn’t know what to say… he’s going home’ as well as songs from their upcoming record.
Beatrix Kiddo are a London-based four-piece designed to explore the nuances of noisy music, wandering from laid-back funk beats and huge melodic hooks to grating metal riffs and wailing saxophone improvisation via subtle time-signature changes, psychedelic textures and extended jam sections. Their 5-track EP drops later in 2023 on streaming services and extremely limited edition cassette.
Asleep People are an experienced indie four-piece with a Britpop influence and a set-list full of catchy hooks. Having just released their ‘Expectation at the Station’ single with more music on the way, their energetic sets always go down a treat.
