Afterthought are a new band on the scene, with a sound influenced by 60s and 70s rock, contemporary indie and funk. The band released their debut single ‘Write Me A Love Song’ earlier in the new year after headlining The Sunflower Lounge and supporting Gecko Club on their UK tour. Afterthought are embarking on their debut UK tour in October for the release of their new EP ‘Everyday Appearances’, with dates in London, Birmingham, Manchester and the iconic Jacaranda in Liverpool.

Based in London, Lyra are a infectious soul/rnb act pushing the envolope of their genre. Drawing inspiration from 90’s rnb culture to modern day funk, soul and pop. The band take influence from artists including Lily Moore, Olivia Dean, Stevie Wonder, Don Broco, Polyphia, Tom Misch, Cory Wong and Amy Winehouse. Since forming in 2016 Lyra have performed in some of London’s iconic venues such as The Bedford, The Spice of life, 229, The Camden Assembly, 93 Feet East and many more. Their songs have received numerous plays on BBC Introducing in addition to track of the week.
