Welcome to The somber Sessions – A monthly showcase of some of the coolest upcoming artists and bands from across London and beyond !!!
We are so excited to share this months lineup of amazing acts:
peafloom
Drawing inspiration from artists such as Eloise and Olivia Dean, ‘peafloom’ combines heartfelt, personal lyrics with soft vocals floating atop intricate, lush instrumentation, creating a mellow soundscape unique to her. Looking to release her debut single at the start of 2025, peafloom is a rising artist you should be looking out for.
Liv Sommer
The blend of subtle jabs, grand theatricality and a crystalline harmonic landscape is how Liv Sommer envisions and delivers her unique sonic soundscape of Indie Folk mixed with queer, contemporary Pop music
It’s not a far stretch to say that the arts are as much a part of her as is carbon and water. Performing with the Danish National Youth Choir since she was 9 years old, it was her impending move to London that spurred the thoughts and emotions that led to her first full body of original work ‘Bloodstained Tissue’
Chronicling her tumultuous relationship with romance and strained friendships, ‘Bloodstained Tissue’ is a collection of thoughts striving to provoke and reminisce on her journey of acceptance and healing, wearing the songs as a pendant of hope not a necklace of regret
Wether slaying onstage or writing in the corner, Liv will always be…
Angry and vengeful, modern and feminine
Sam Fraser
No hiding. No bullshit. Just pure realness. Sam Fraser’s music is set to confront all of the emotions that you would otherwise like to keep under wraps and undiscussed. Sam describes his music as ‘a cost effective alternative to therapy’ and this has been a constant driving force since he started writing at the age of 12. Music has always been his coping mechanism and he hopes that as more people begin to hear what he has to say that the songs in his catalogue can help others heal as well.
